Cibo's Patio is a Lovely Escape from the City
If you haven’t been to Cibo’s patio on 17th Avenue SW just yet, you are missing out on another reason why I and many other people love the beltline community of Connaught!
Known for its decadent Italian cuisine and ridiculously awesome happy hour specials, Cibo also is also home to one of the best Calgary patios around that will keep you coming back for more deliciousness in the sun every time.

It and the patio at Cilantro are two of the few that are completely sectioned off from the busy street by a barrier, shielding restaurant patrons from the hustle and bustle of one of Calgary’s busiest social avenues.
Busy with cars for the most part – and loud car music – plus other sounds I would rather not hear when enjoying myself and company.
Combine the tall wooden barrier with a spacious seating plan, lush hanging plants, ever-so-friendly service and exceptional Italian food and you get an outstanding restaurant that is a key part of the fabric that makes Connaught the awesome community it is today.
Oh, and did I mention the outrageously awesome happy hour special? best enjoyed in the serene patio atmosphere of course.
Happy Hour
I’m hungry, the time is nearing three o’clock pm and the sun is shining.
These are three events that happen simultaneously in my life at least twice a week and immediately kick-start my craving for Cibo Happy Hour on the patio!
Find yourself in a similar situation? There is no better place you can go my friend other than to Cibo’s patio for one of Calgary’s best happy hours.
I really can’t help myself and I don’t think you will either once you try Cibo’s $5.00 gourmet pizzas and $5.00 glass of wine during happy hour from 3:00pm to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.
I am always astonished looking at a bill of usually $20 to $35 dollars for two people. I just love this place – and so does my wallet!
