Alberta Leads Migration
In the first quarter of this year 5,275 people moved to Alberta from other Canadian Provinces. In the second quarter a total of 4, 720 people migrated here (largely from Ontario) Alberta should gain (in total) over 20,000 migrants in 2011! These new Albertan’s are moving to North America’s job leader and Calgary, the provinces most populous city is the head office capital of Canada on a per capita basis and has been rated the 5th most livable city in the world!
If this goal is achieved it will be the highest annual inter-provincial migration since 2006!
