    There are currently more than 75 playgrounds in communities across Airdrie designed for children ages 2 to 12, in addition to four large regional parks: Nose Creek, East Lake, Chinook Winds, Fletcher Regional. Throughout the city you’ll often see various creeks which provide great scenery for walking the dog or taking a jog.

    Outdoor gyms are a thing here with three of them used from late spring to early fall depending on the weather. Airdrie also has an outdoor BMX Park and skatepark at Chinook Winds and a number picnic shelters which are often accompanied by a firepit, not to mention multiple outdoor baseball diamonds, tobogganing hills and trails for cross country skiers located in the four larger regional parks mentioned above.
