Use the Right Contract for Your Condo Purchase!

Real estate transactions typically come with a bunch of contracts you’ll have to sign off on if you want to move forward with your sale or purchase. Condominiums are of no exception.

If you are buying a resale condominium in Calgary, make sure you are using the specific resale condominium contract and that it is the most current edition. This is extremely important because a correct condominium contract will be specific for resale condominiums with specific terms, warranties and wording relating to condominiums.

Whenever there is a contract involved, whether you’re buying a home or condo, I highly suggest you diligently read every last sentence so there are no surprise hidden factors later on.

If you choose not to, you’re leaving yourself open to potential problems later on in your transaction. Don’t be silly; do your due diligence and read every last line of any contract you come across!
