Shawnee Park: Three New Phases & Buyer Opportunities!
It was just last year that the developers of Shawnee Park announced sales on their opening phase. Now, the community is branching out with even more buyer opportunities in three new phases of development!
Located nearby Fish Creek Provincial Park, the southwest neighbourhoods’ developer has submitted an application to the city for a permit to build 83 new lots across three phases. Nearly a third of these pre-construction lots will be brought to the market for initial sales.
The three phases that are planned include:
- The Boulevard
- The Glens
- The Cairns

Size lots vary from 32 to 40 feet wide; some back out onto a city park while have a 50-foot wide tree buffer behind them. These are the perfect lots for Cardel’s line of laned home, four different rear garage courtyard versions with three bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms each. They range from 2,351 to 2,456 square feet in size.
Cardel is also offering 16 lots with two-floor front-attached garages homes ranging from 1,993 and 2,788 square feet. There are also two bungalow options named the Aspen and Aspen 2 which are both 1,483 square feet.
This particular release in Shawnee Park is found adjacently west of the current 23-acre mixed and multi-use project currently in the planning stages by Genstar.
Genstar Development Co. is the company behind Shawnee Park as well as other appealing suburbs like Panorama Hills and Walden, while Cardel Homes owns the land and will be constructing all single-family homes in the neighbourhood.
