    Community Features

    Kensington Condos and Townhomes

    Kensington condos for sale in Calgary come in all shapes and sizes. In the Hillhurst / Sunnyside area you'll find several different styles of condominiums ranging from old to new.

    While Lido and St. John's on Tenth are located right on 10th Street NW, other buildings like Pixel and Ezra are found a bit further into these two communities.

    Currently there are plans to redevelop the Royal Bank of Canada's lot into a new condo called The Theodore. The Annex is another in pre-construction in the area by Minto Communities.

    Another new condo will also be built in the near future to replace Kensington Manor, a now condemned building due to structural issues as of early 2019.

    Anthem Properties (developer of Waterfront in Eau Claire) is also building an exciting new project in Kensington called Memorial Drive. It is wood construction and will feature nearly 200 units.

    Townhomes are few and far between on 10th Street and Kensington Road NW, although many are found nearby in Hillhurst and Sunnyside.

    Kensington by Bucci

    Bucci Developments is a local multi-family builder with a focus on downtown and inner city projects.

    The company recently completed Kensington by Bucci, a new concrete construction condo featuring 77 units across six floors.

    The building is located right on 10th Street NW in the heart of the BRZ.

    Its bottom floor is home to Orange Theory Fitness, Espresso Cafè and Regal Cat Cafè.

    Lido

    Lido is a recently completed condominium by Battistella, another local developer with a focus on downtown and the inner city.

    The mixed-use condo is rich in amenities including a boutique hotel and bottom floor amenities like Tuk Tuk Thai and TD Bank.

    It is also located right on 10th Street NW in the heart of the Kensington District.

    Pixel

    Pixel was the first condominium in Kensington built by Battistella Developments.

    Completed in 2013, it is home to 98 units and is located on 9A Street NW adjacent to its newer sister Lido.

    If you're looking for a quieter building off the beaten path, Pixel may be for you!

    VEN

    VEN is a 4-storey, 115 unit building about 150 metres away from the Sunnyside CTrain Station.

    It is located on a very quiet street near the backdrop of Sunnyside where the hill up to the Crescent Heights plateau begins.

    Completed in 2015, VEN's units range from the mid-600 to mid-1300 square feet in size and have spacious balconies.

    St. John's on Tenth

    Condos for sale at Kensington's St. John's on Tenth building don't stay on the market for too long.

    Units at this 8-storey concrete construction building have been known as a quality product since the beginning, with an excellent location across the street from Safeway and the CTrain Station.
