Calgary’s residential market is dynamic, as evidenced by how different sectors have responded during the economic downturn over the past three or four years.

Today, statistics from the Calgary Real Estate Board show that many buyers are looking for more affordable homes as a result.

Several multi-family developers who focus on building in inner city communities have responded to that demand by introducing new townhome projects.

Townhouses are ideal in the sense that they don’t cost as much as an infill on a comparative basis while having a good blend of positive attributes from both condo and single-family living.

Here’s three new townhome projects you might be interested in if you’re currently looking for an inner city townhouse in Calgary.

Alvaro – Bridgeland

Located on the west brim of Bridgeland, Alvaro is a luxury complex featuring 12 total units with a few apartment condos and the rest 3-storey townhomes. Quartz countertops, private rooftop balconies and high-end kitchens are just a few of the features you can expect.
