    Christie Park Real Estate Market

    Annexed by the City of Calgary in 1956 from the Rocky View Municipal District, Christie Park began development in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Soon to follow were other nearby communities such as Strathcona and Aspen Woods (today known as Aspen).

    Christie Park consists of mostly single-family detached real estate with a limited amount of multi-family and attached properties. These homes reflect the popular design styles of the day, some with Mediterranean stucco exteriors and others with more traditional panels. Many homeowners have renovated their homes inside and out to maintain a contemporary feel.

    On the north side of the community, there is a ravine that spans from East to West, giving many homes in Christie Park Calgary scenic views of the foothills and mountains to the west.
